Davina Conner – Pozitively Dee Discussion Podcast
Davina Conner (Dee) was diagnosed with HIV 21 years ago and felt she needed to use podcast as a platform to educate society on HIV. Dee’s show focuses on various topics on HIV like other sharing their journey, condom usage, getting tested, PrEP, being undetectable and helping others to know that the stigma needs to end.
Corey Corpodian – Unleash Success
Corey is an Orthodontist turned Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker. After residency, Corey was $850,000 in student loan debt, battling depression for 8 years, and lacked fulfillment in life. After getting skin cancer, Corey did a deep dive into personal development learning the mindset of what we do when we fail and how to truly Unleash Success in life. Zack Harwell – The Complete Family
Zack has been married to Paula for 22 years. They have 4 children – College, high school, middle school and elementary school. Zack and Paula both work virtually from home for major companies. They love travel, theatre, football and are technology fans!
Shea Maloney – All Crime No Cattle
Shea does a lot of things outside of podcasting. He works as a cartographer and does volunteer work as an amateur archaeologist. He loves fly fishing and playing disc golf whenever he gets the chance. If he isn’t podcasting or one of these activities, you can probably find him spending time with his dogs and his wonderful wife and cohost. Lisa Beck began talking to audiences as a disc jockey for an oldies radio station. Over the years, she has “talked” to audiences by developing brands, mainly in the financial industry, and by speaking and training individuals on marketing and messaging. She is president of Cypress Resources, a firm that helps business owners scale beyond success and stop trading time for money. She is also co-host of the “Caged Vision” podcast with Carey Rome, CEO of Cypress Resources
Stewart and Cara Schmidt – Bless this Mess: A Southern True Crime Podcast
Stewart and Cara are a married couple living in the South. Cara felt that the South was under represented in the True Crime genre (besides Texas and Florida). So a podcast was born and Cara dragged Stewart along for the ride, as usual.
Scott Carter – Forgot to Grow Up
Scott watches wayyyyy too much TV which is why he had to start a podcast with his two buddies to justify his hours and hours of Netflix binge watching. He has been listening to podcasts for almost two years but only started podcasting himself 6 months ago. Scott loves discovering and connecting with fellow podcasters about almost any topic, especially movie, tv and pop culture related topics.
Mike Cushing – Longest Days of Our Lives
Longest Days of Our Lives is the premier (longest-tenured, anyway) weekly 24 fancast. Hosts Mike and Michael (longtime fans of the show) take their co-host Curtis, a 24 newbie, through the show minute-by-minute. The hosts make fun of early 2000s haircuts and technology, dissect Bauer-family dynamics, and loosely play a drinking game. They’ve also developed an odd fascination and fixation with the films of Tom Hanks.
Betsy Wallace – Dinner Sisters
Kate Schulz and Betsy Wallace are sisters are home-cooking sisters who love to talk about food. Kate lives in Providence, RI and cooks for two; Betsy lives in Atlanta and cooks for five.
Tyson Hartnett – Athlete Minded: Stories
Tyson played pro basketball overseas for years, and then came back to the states where he realized that a lot of athletes also struggles with the athlete to non-athlete transition. He created a book entitled Hoop Dreams Fulfilled, and now has a podcast where he helps athletes with the mental/emotional toll of being an athlete, and transitioning to what’s next.
Pete Camarillo – Touchdowns and Tangents
Pete is a media relations specialist by day and a freelance sports writer and broadcaster by night. He is one half of the touchdowns and tangents radio show and podcast. The audio brand is for NFL fans who want intelligent sports discussions and less arguments about topical sports and culture issues.
Rainer Koch – Gretta
Rainer is one of the co-founders of Gretta – a transcription-powered podcast listening platform with a focus on sharing, and audio navigation. Besides taking care of Operations, he builds and maintains partnerships with podcasters and other players in the industry.
Charles Drake – HisandHerFI
The discovery of Financial Independence and the thought of retiring early sparked a total lifestyle change in Bethany and Charles. Having a deep conversation is important to them and they are not afraid to dig deep and get into it. Their talks are hard sometimes, but most importantly real. The struggle, the fight and the vulnerability take center stage here on the show as Charles and Bethany take you along on their journey to FI.
Tony Tellado – Sci-Fi Talk
Tony Tellado started in radio in the late 1970’s and discovered he hated the travel from place to place and not having creative freedom. Leaving radio behind flash forward to late 90’s where he talked a radio station manager into airing his sci-fi talk show. It ran for a season before airing on New York radio in 1996. This lead to a long hiatus but in 2000 he restarted it on givemetalk.com which died as a result of the .dot com crash. A good friend suggested in 2005 that he look into podcasting. And that started him to produce episodes until this day now covering San Diego Comic Con, New York Comic Con and The Tribeca Film Festival. The podcast features interviews with those that score, write, direct, act and create genre entertainment. Recently Tony chooses to concentrate on indie, minority artists that are bringing their voices to the genre.

Alex Yant – From Mind to Matter
Alex has always enjoyed designing experiences. With a background in communications and occupational therapy, Alex originally got into podcasting after hearing his patients’ stories, and becoming riveted by what they created over their lifetime. Rather than telling stories of the fabulously successful, Alex wanted to speak with creatives at the incipient stages of their projects, so up-and-coming entrepreneurs could relate to their journey and words of wisdom.

Kate Werning – Healing Justice
Kate Werning is the creator and host of Healing Justice Podcast, a virtual practice space resourcing activists and organizers with weekly conversations and practices to sustain their work for social change. Kate is a decade-long community organizer from Milwaukee, a faculty with Momentum and Liberation School, and co-facilitates workshops on collective wellbeing for social justice leaders. She teaches trauma-informed yoga classes at Third Root Community Health Center and is a founder of Hoop House collective home in Brooklyn.

Eric O’Keeffe – What If World
Eric O’Keeffe, aka Mr. Eric has worked with kids since he was still one himself, teaching karate to youngsters at age fourteen. He started doing children’s theater in Boston at age 19, and volunteered regularly as Petey the Pirate throughout the Marshfield school system during his college years.
After graduating from BU with a Bachelor’s in English, he directed the Little Gym of Brooklyn Heights, teaching gymnastics, karate, and motor skills to infants, toddlers, and grade-schoolers for five years. He was also Program Director of New York’s Galli Theatre, performing at Manhattan schools and hospitals as a host of fairy tale characters. Kim Selby – The Enchant Me Podcast
Kim started listening to podcasts a couple of years ago and one day a light bulb went off… “If they can do it, I can do it,” she realized. And just like that, ideas for podcasts started to spring up like daffodils in spring. As a lifelong learner, she dove headfirst into learning about microphones, media hosting and audio editing. You name it, she read about it, and read some more, and then read some more. Finally she stopped reading and started recording. Jason Villanueva – Salty Dogs Christian Podcast
The Salty Dogs Christian Podcast is a ministry of The Source Church in Wichita, Kansas. Birthed out of a 5-year friendship between Jason Villanueva and Casey Tavares, the podcast covers many topics dealing with the Christian faith, the Church, and personal stories and experiences. Josh Lewis – Saving Elephants
Josh Lewis is a CPA who lives in Tulsa and works for the Oklahoma State Auditor’s Office. A former candidate for City Auditor with nearly a decade of experience in auditing governments, Josh has a unique and practical perspective as an outside observer of politics put into practice.
Josh graduated from College of the Ozarks–Hard Work U–majoring in Accounting with a minor in Speech Communications, where he was president of the College Republicans. Thadd Scott – Fans Of..
In 2010 Thadd Scott joined the Cincinnati Rollergirls as a statistician, he moved into the role of Production Manager in 2011 where he perfected the role until 2014 when he was elected to the Board of Directors serving as the Production Director for four years. Along the way in 2012 Thadd became a Play-by-Play Announcer for the team, a role he still occupies. Thadd covered the Cincinnati Rollergirls for Examiner.com from 2011-2016, covering the team’s games, events and writing player profiles, until the site shut down. He began the Fans Of… podcast in August of 2017 as a new way to record the stories and events of his team, and the sport he had grown to love. Thadd began with co-host Brandon Barb, the team’s current Production Director, and currently co-hosts with Cincinnati Rollergirl, Royal T. Jeremy Malaspina was born in Queens New York in the late 80s, making music at a young age he would later write and produce 5 albums and refine is audio production skills. Becoming a master carpenter in the process he would later take a step back from music to focus on his career and would later discover a different passion which is a podcast. Oso Wallman – Food Happens
Food Happens and Mortar & Pestle Food Story Project is the culmination of Oso Wallman’s life work as a chef in 24 countries, 7 continents, and 50 homes in the United States.
Observation and Immersion in cuisine and culture added to our own culture around food prompted Oso to create a forum to discuss all things regarding food and it’s myriad aspects. Everything from food policy, science, history, lexicon, to tips and recipes.

Matthew Diehls – Brodundrum
Matthew Diehls strives to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, and how it affects those with the disease. As a twin with Cystic Fibrosis, he has tremendous insight on the effects on the disease not only to the person with the disease but also its effects on those closest to them. He has created a website to do so and is about to start a podcast on the topic.
Sarah DiMeo – Faded Out
Sarah E. DiMeo was born in Bristol, CT on Aug. 22, 1984. From an early age, she was drawn to film and television and always felt a need to be a storyteller. She graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts, concentration in Theatre. From there, she went on to the New York Film Academy in Manhattan, New York to study Filmmaking. In 2008, at the age of 23, she started her own production company called Hells Bells Productions. Since then, has written, directed, shot and edited several original films, such as ‘SWAN Day CT,’ ‘Women of the Day,’ and ‘Fresh Blood,’ which have earned her a place in film festivals such as SENE Film & Music Festival and The Indie Gathering, as well as awards for her work. Looking to take her talents into a new direction, she enrolled in the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2017, where she studied TV and radio broadcasting. It was there that she developed her own original podcast “Faded Out,” which she also writes, hosts, edits, mixes and produces. The first season follows the case of the disappearance of 12-year-old Johnny Gosch in 1982, a case that she first began researching one year prior, and has become close to her heart. In April, she also created “SWANCAST,” a biweekly show highlighting the talented women of SWAN Day Connecticut. SWAN stands for Support Women Artists Now and it is a global movement. Connecticut’s annual celebrations showcase female fronted bands, female visual artists, even burlesque dancers.
Darren Horne – Darren Horne Consultancy

He is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, a media lecturer, an award-winning author of Level Up Your Teens (aimed at helping teenagers deal with life). Steve Sarley – We Fish ASA
Steve was the host of the Outdoors Experience, which aired on Chicago’s AM-560 WIND from 2003 to 2013. The Outdoors Experience drew an excellent audience, due to its high quality and because it featured the best possible guests in the world of the outdoors.
Steve was also the host, from 2002 to 2005, of CLTV’s Great Outdoors, which aired live for 30 minutes every Thursday evening in primetime on the local companion station to national superstation WGN. This was a talk show that featured many famous luminaries from the outdoors world and featured taped outdoors footage. Occasionally, a show would be taped from out in the woods or on the water.
Steve has been a published outdoor writer in newspapers and magazines continuously since 1998. Currently, his work can be found in a weekly, bylined column for The Northwest Herald and other daily and weekly papers published by Shaw Media. His bylined column also appears every two weeks in Illinois Outdoor News magazine.
He also presents seminars to various groups on a variety of outdoor topics and has been the host and/or emcee for a number of outdoor shows and banquets. Steve has also been a guest on a number of outdoor radio and television shows. He is a member and past director of the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers.
Tyler Bell – Westside Fairytales
Tyler was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the ass end of the 1980s. St. Judes Catholic School got rid of him by sixth grade and he came up in the public school system with the lions share of his generation. His childhood was a lot of hand-me-downs and hard work, of doing whether or not you wanted to and going back out to fight even if you were scared.
And he read. Lots. And thought about writing his own books.
The towers falling on 9/11 changed his plans for his future just about as much as anybody else in that era. And, five years after watching thousands die live in his freshman typing class, Tyler was clapped up in body armor with Second Battalion, Eighth Marines outside of Fallujah. He did three combat deployments with the Marines as an infantry 0331 and rejoined society drunk, angry, and pissed off about being alive when other people weren’t.
Writing saved his life. He started with journalism in college and found himself suddenly drinking less and going out more, wanting to know about people. He could feel the world through their stories, through the scrawls they left on the inside of his skull, more than he could feel using his own skin. He found the shards of the person he could become inside others, and slowly, painstakingly put himself back together.
He caught the itch soon after and started writing for himself, doing whatever he could to commit the stories he couldn’t write the news to paper. Stories too grotesque or banally cruel for publication. The true lives of the blue collar folk he’d grown up alongside — folks the world just always seemed ready to write off and forget — he wrote about them.

Dr. Spencer-Thomas was moved to work in suicide prevention after her younger brother, a Denver entrepreneur, died of suicide after a difficult battle with a bipolar condition. Leigh Pfeffer – History is Gay

They love telling stories about badass folks from history and present who dare to live authentically and add light and love to the world. Leigh is a giant geek as well, can’t (and won’t) shut up about TV, comics, and the importance of representation on-screen and off. Dislikes: cisheteronormativity, the patriarchy, and the word moist.
