We are less than two weeks away from Podcast Movement 2019! The BIG event is right around the corner.
This week’s newsletter features the PM19 Parties, the sessions for the Audio Drama/Fiction Track, and two more keynote updates!
We are often asked for the can’t-miss Podcast Movement events for new attendees. We always recommend starting with the New Attendee Orientation Sessions, and then choosing other presentations and workshops based on your goals and experience levels.
But the number one thing that an attendee should never miss at Podcast Movement are the parties! We’re not joking. The parties are some of the best opportunities to make new connections, have fun with friends, and take your podcast to the Old Town Road! We urge you to take advantage!
The iHeartRadio Party on Thursday, Aug 15!
Tin Roof Orlando will play home to the biggest party in PM history, featuring food, drinks, live music, and FUN!
We’ll have buses running between Tin Roof and both PM hotels all night, so come for fun and let the good times roll!

PM19 presents the new Audio Fiction Track
One of the fastest-growing genres of podcasting is the audio drama format, and we’re absolutely in love with it. If you’ve heard any of these shows, you know that they’re truly an art. We’re excited this year to feature a full track of audio drama focused education, and it promises to be a great learning experience for podcasters of every genre!

Edison Research Keynote at PM19
For many of the attendees at Podcast Movement, podcasting is just second nature. We’ve grown up with the idea of what a podcast is, and what it can be. But millions of people have recently discovered podcasting, and the concept of a podcast is very different to them.
Join Edison Research SVP Tom Webster for a brand new research presentation on the differences between podcast listeners – the rookies and the vets.
Tom will present an all-new cut of Edison and Triton Digital’s Infinite Dial data. It will be combined with new qualitative research with professionals and hobbyists, to provide PM19 attendees with a clear vision of where podcasting has been, and where it is going.
