Eddie Ravert – Rose Buds: The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever
Eddie Ravert was itching to get back behind the microphone, but how? He had a very successful PR career and wasn’t too sure about jumping back into the radio industry. Then one day, while watching his favorite guilty pleasure TV show, a light bulb went off. Why not start a podcast about the hit ABC reality TV shows “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” And it made perfect sense to Eddie. Nearly 8 million people tune into “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” every Monday night, so the captive audience was built into his plan. Given the viewing audience of this reality dating show was about 90 percent female, Eddie knew he needed an influential female voice, and there was only one person for that job- his sister.
Eddie & Lynn started off with one USB microphone on her kitchen table simply doing recaps on recent episodes of “The Bachelor.” After five episodes and about 500 downloads, Eddie realized this could really take off. So they invested in more advanced podcasting equipment and software and really went for it. They started interviewing uber popular contestants from the show weekly. Word was starting to spread about this brother-sister duo from Philadelphia. Contestants started talking to each other saying how much fun they had on the Rose Buds podcast. But most importantly, these reality TV stars were sharing links to their episodes with their massive social media following (side note: the Instagram story “swipe up” function has been the biggest factor in the podcast’s growth). Now, Rose Buds was really starting to take off.
But Eddie & Lynn wanted more. They started uncovering and breaking news about “The Bachelor” franchise the show wasn’t airing. This lead to them being covered in numerous major media outlets for countless stories including People, E!, US Weekly, The Inquisitr, Refinery 29, and much more. After cracking the iTunes top 75 charts and garnering thousands of downloads per weekly episode, Rose Buds Nation was growing at an alarming rate. For a little, independent podcast competing with the major Bachelor Nation podcasts from all the major broadcast companies, you could say Rose Buds was disruptive.
Most recently, Eddie & Lynn organized and performed a live Bachelor-themed trivia night at Punch Line Comedy Club in Philadelphia in front of a packed and engaged crowd. They also record weekly Facebook Live recap shows with local Philadelphia radio station Today’s 96.5, reaching thousands of viewers. The future is bright for Rose Buds, as they continue to grow, interview top-tier contestants and uncover scoops no other Bachelor-themed podcast could even fathom. From fan-favorite segments like “One Word, One Answer” to “Date Card Dilemma” to listener voicemails and Instagram contests, the listeners are just as part of the show as Eddie & Lynn are. So, if you are a fan of The Bachelor (or know anyone how loves this show as much as Eddie & Lynn) then please tell them to subscribe, leave a review… (you know the deal :)).

Gina Murphy-Darling – Mrs. Green’s World
From about age five, Gina’s mom called her a “troublemaker” but always advised her that if she figured out how to do “it” right, it would serve her well in this world. Her mom was right. Translation? Meet the Disruptor for Good! She really likes to stir things up and get people thinking AND acting. One of her favorite past times is making people laugh and because she was clearly born with multiple sets of tear ducts, crying makes the list too. Gina cries proudly and frequently – mostly tears of joy. A few things that immediately turn the tears of joy faucet on are her team accomplishing a goal they set; letters from ten-year-old girls sharing that, because of Mrs. Green’s World, they will never use straws again; traveling deep into the Amazon rainforest; her clients sharing the difference Mrs. Green’s World has made in their lives and businesses; being a part of the lives of young people and when her family is all together. Tears of sorrow? Things like mass shootings, 500 children dying of starvation every day due to climate change, the devastation of our oceans and our rainforests and the rate of extinction for our four-legged friends. Her advice if you are thinking about writing a book? As a published author, Mrs. Green says: just do it! Be sure you have the fire in your belly, the time to tell your story and then really commit to it. The Queen of Green warns everyone that she stops for birds, all wildlife and to snap pictures of the numerous ways plastic pollution is impacting the health of our planet. Gina is a dreamer at heart. But she doesn’t just dream – she makes things happen. She has spent most of her adult life working to improve the lives of at-risk children and families, and now our at-risk planet. She is madly and passionately in love with this great planet or ours and is tireless in her efforts to preserve it. Her big dream? Raise the consciousness, of every human being on this planet, about the reality of our climate and the health of our planet. Then, educate, inspire and engage them to be the change they wish to see in the world.

Daniel Tuggle – Ready Set Show Podcast
Hello, my name is Daniel Tuggle, (DT what I am called and go by on our podcast FYI) I am 36 years old and I am currently living in East Tennessee where I was born and raised. I have 3 beautiful girls ages are 2, 12, and 14, I also have a son who is 9. I have a beautiful fiancee who likes my beautiful children I love more than anything! They make me strive to be my best everyday and work hard so that they are all well taken care of now and in the future, without them by my side, I don’t know what I would do. I started our podcast called, “Ready Set Show Podcast” March of 2018. How I got started dates back to when I was in my early 20’s I used to go to my cousin who past away a few years ago, unfortunately, fathers house to hang out and I would just tell crazy stories of things that have happened in my life. My cousins father (Kellen who I shout out the start of each episode) always loved the stories and laughed, told me that I needed to be on radio everytime he would see me after that. I was playing drums in different bands at the time so just kind of kept it in the back of my mind. About 2-3 years ago I started listening to podcasts until one day it just hit me, I decided I want to start my own podcast. So luckily, income tax time was upon us and I was able to get the laptop I am currently still using, and got a Blue Snowball mic that I was using until a few weeks ago. From there I had a buddy of mine I started with and it didn’t work out. I then did it by myself and though I was enjoying it every episode it just felt like something was missing. I was working at a factory here in my hometown and Lette was working there and we had been talking about doing a podcast for a while and it just kind of hit me to start doing the podcast with Lette. Drama aka “Drama B” was there helping me and supporting the show from the start from making our logo, an awesome video for the show, and made our intro also. She has helped us so much we made her our manager and with her business, in online marketing (www.socialpoint24.com def check her out she has really good and affordable offers) and social media, she has helped us so much. Together with us 3, are not just a great team, but we are friends, family even!! I love this show and our segments. We do comedy, gaming, music, paranormal, vaping, and more! Anything we want to talk about we talk about it and we have so much fun doing it! We just want to learn as much as we can to help improve our show and entertain our listeners. We started out posting our episodes on Soundcloud but now we have moved over to Podbean which we LOVE and so glad we made the move to their platform. Well, that’s about it and we would love if you come to listen to the show, and if you like it follow and share it with your friends and family!! Love the podcasting community we just want to do our part to make it grow and be better. Thank you and special thanks to Podcast Movement for letting us join this great community for podcasters and welcoming us we can’t thank you all enough!!

Rory McIlvenny – The Jack Klassen Show
Boarderline obsessive, Rory Mc exercises his talents as a producer by placing a microscope on the Jack Klassen Show and reflecting that magnified image on social media and the web in general. The Jack Klassen Show was at one time a thriving and established FM radio show but hard times fell on the show and it was reduced to dead-air. Rory heard past episodes of the show via Youtube, and other places. He took notice of a special quality and talent found in the show, and Jack, that he felt was being left by the wayside. So, Rory contacted the comedy talkshow host, who at the time, was sitting in a metaphorical dirty bathrobe, smoking cigarette butts from a metaphorical ashtray and collecting a metaphorical talkshow welfare dole. A pep talk wasn’t enough to bring Jack out of his radio depression funk. Rory took it upon himself to paint every nook and cranny of the interweb with Jack’s radio show and name. He spread the show to Spreaker, to Stitcher, to Itunes, to IHeartRadio… the list goes on, Jack felt the power once again.. he took off the bathrobe and stepped up to the mic, this time in a Podcast capacity (he may be still wearing the bathrobe now that I think about it). Rory divided his efforts between the continued promotion of past shows and producing brand new ones. As the show gains popularity, Rory feels great satisfaction. He continues to see great potential in the shows future.

This has inspired Eren to start his own non profit , The Eren Martin Foundation, which he has recently dissolved and is restructuring it. After leaving the corporate world in 2014, he could no longer resist the entrepreneurial spirit that was pulling at him consistently to venture out and start his own businesses. Since, he has become a social media guru, bringing some of the most viral videos to the internet. (IF YOU NEED TO VERIFY) (https://facebook.com/droematic) 44,000 followers. (I also have analytics to verify)
He has self-taught himself how to code and launched his first mobile app on Google Play store last year. That has branched into a full blown software startup called ErenLogic (https://www.erenlogic.com). Eren is currently partnering with Holotouch, Inc, and others to create prototypes and A.I software for commercial businesses.
It doesn’t stop there, as he has also been busy with creating a new adult animated comedy web series called 3 Real Records (https://www.3realrecords.com), that he soon plans to launch on Youtube.
Since he has so many things going on, he felt the best way to promote it, was to start a podcast. After about 2 months of learning the ins and outs of what podcasting was and how it works, he was ready to start his own. He put up an Instagram post asking if anyone was interested in being a co-host with him. To much of his surprise, most people in his hometown area and abroad, did not even know what a podcast was. Luckily, one of his long-time business partners and close friend, Jonathan Waters asked if he could do it. Eren then asked a child hood friend, which he refers to a lot on the show as Ty-Ty, to be a part of the show as well. Since she was a native New Yorker, and a hip-hop enthusiast, he felt it was an easy choice to bring her aboard.
After reaching iTunes top 5 in the music category of podcasts a few weeks ago, inspired Eren to take the craft of podcasting even more seriously. With an even more renewed focus on podcasting, he has already started working on a second show that he created, but this time, he’ll be working behind the scenes, which will be coming out in a few weeks.

Desarie graduated from Georgia State University with a BA in Accounting. She is a Georgia CPA, and an IRS Enrolled Agent. She is also a certified QuickBooks online Pro advisor and an online course creator. In addition to providing small businesses and independent contractors with bookkeeping and accounting
services, she is passionate about helping start-ups, and small businesses properly plan their business set up and their on-going activities, so they avoid potential IRS issues. She believes that it is easier to do things right in the beginning than to try to correct issues that could have been avoided with a little early planning and sound advice.
As a former employee of the Department of revenue, she has seen firsthand the tangled web small businesses and independent contractors weave for themselves. Lack of proper planning leaves small businesses that are already financially strapped in serious IRS debt. Between the increase in tax owed
from errors that could have been avoided and penalties & interests, some small businesses are forced to shut their doors. It is my job to make sure this does not happen to you.
During the few hours of the day Desarie is not working, she enjoys working out and watching Netflix.
Sheila Wysocki – Without Warning The Lauren Agee Case
Sheila Wysocki is a mother of two and an accomplished private detective. It’s not usual to see those two epithets applied to the same woman, but Sheila herself is hardly what most people would consider usual. After solving her former roommate’s murder, a case that had gone cold for more than 25 years, Sheila devoted herself to detective work completely, founding the non-profit Without Warning: Fight Back. She uses this as an outlet for advocating for victims of crime. She is a licensed professional investigator, who will get to the truth no matter how long it takes.
Talk to Sheila, it will be clear that she makes no distinction between her life as a mom and her life as a professional investigator. In fact, her motherly instincts influence her investigative work, as she often relies on her gut feelings to guide the directions of the analyses and reports that she makes. Sheila has a unique way of solving her cases using what she calls her secret weapon of dyslexia. She sees cases in a way that isn’t the norm, instead of being a disability, she considers it an ability to see. She is widely known for what she does, having appeared on Anderson Cooper, Dateline, Katie Couric, Biography, ABC’s 20/20, Crime Watch Daily, Criminal and numerous other podcasts. She was also featured in the Washington Post.
Brittany Rendak – Back To Brittany
From the moment her parents moved Brittany to Chicago from her birthplace in San Francisco, she was determined to go back to California one day. She’s a Chicago girl living her dream in Los Angeles working in the entertainment/music industry with a side hustle as a blogger/influencer, “Back to Brittany.” She knew she wanted to start a blog to tell my story after college after she decided she wouldn’t be pursuing the traditional broadcast journalism role. Brittany moved back home and got a social media internship while waitressing on the weekends to save up to move to LA. When she wasn’t working, she was building up her following and writing blogs about her path to make it to LA. Now she works full-time in her dream industry, while blogging about the LA Lifestyle and how to survive & thrive here. How did she get here? Well, it wasn’t easy and she is currently working even harder to turn her side hustle into a full time gig! Not only does her side hustle help to pay the expensive bills, but she absolutely LOVES inspiring others to go for their dream. She’s always been an ambitious person and made the decision to move to LA with basically nothing. It makes her happy to be able to share her story and help others do the same.

Judd Alsup – We The Heroes
Judd is a believer in Jesus Christ above all. He is a husband, second (Yes, his wife is a BABE.) After those two things… Well, that’s a story all of it’s own.
If Judd had to coin a term for himself, he would say that he is a “professional beginner.” He is constantly starting new, different, exciting adventures – from podcasts to firefighting to learning how to throw a boomerang, the later of which, according to Judd, is way more difficult than you would think! Therefore, he is in a constant state of being a beginner.
It doesn’t help that he is extremely scatterbrained. For years, Judd thought this was a problem. A disability. A deal breaker for his success. It kept him awake at night – his wife sound asleep next to him. Judd realized, however, a few years ago that the truth couldn’t be any more opposite. His scatterbrained-ness is a gift. A gift that most people don’t have. Consequently, this “gift” meant that Judd is not satisfied working a 9 to 5 career style job.
He is not satisfied doing one thing repeatedly until he dies. Judd is by no means against hard work! He’s just built for a different kind of hard work. So, as of late, he has embraced his gift.
Since this realization Judd has begun to chip away at a list of goals/ideas/dreams that he continually adds to on a daily basis. It grows faster than it is completed, but this is a good thing; it just means that he’ll never get bored! His wife is constant support in all of his ventures and even if they all crumbled in his hands, as long as she’s by his side, he’s got it all.

Except for one question he asks both mothers and fathers when he has them say something to and for their children (of any age) so they can hear their parent’s voice years from now, essentially creating a verbal time capsule.
That question from each guest, previously unreleased material, was then compiled into a Mother’s Day bonus episode a few weeks ago at http://www.collectedclan.com/mothersday with the Father’s Day episode released on Monday before Father’s Day 2018 at http://www.collectedclan.com/fathersday
Since Collected Clan tells stories of individual people, it’s only fitting that the mothers and fathers are spotlighted in their respective roles and outlooks on parenting and their children.

Anthony Arno – Route 66 Podcast
Anthony Arno’s podcast features stories about people living and working along Route 66, but you’d have to go back at least 35 years to find the reason for his interest in a highway that cannot be found on any road map today.
As a college student, Arno experienced rural America from the saddle of a bicycle while biking across America for cancer awareness as part of a memorial to his mother who had died of cancer. It was during that time Arno discovered his passion for both biking and the thrill of the journey instead of the destination.
Years later, Arno became a school teacher and during the early days of Internet dial-up Arno wrote a grant using the schools only computer connected to the outside world. Reflecting back on his days of biking across America as a college student, Arno proposed giving his students the same experience while biking 2000 miles aboard an exercise bicycle stationed in the back of the classroom.
The next question for Arno was what route would the class follow during this year long activity? There were several routes to consider, but Arno found a book in the local library highlighting Route 66, the same highway that was popularized by Nat King Cole in song decades earlier. The musical group Depeche Mode had an electronic version of the song, which Arno was a bit more familiar with. The lyrics of the song provided a musical roadmap of a journey from Chicago to LA.
Route 66 is not the longest or oldest highway in America, but it is certainly one of the most celebrated highways in the world. It’s been featured by Steinbeck in The Grapes of Wrath, it was the highway of mass migration during the Great Depression for people seeking a better life in California, it was popularized in song by Nat King Cole, it was a 1960’s television drama that ran for four years, and most recently it was once again revitalized in the Pixar classic CARS.
Arno first discovered podcasting while traveling through Europe on bicycle back in 2010 and he was instantly hooked to the medium. He knew he wanted to start a podcast, and after attending Podcast Movement in Texas, the constant message was follow your passion when looking to begin a podcast.
Arno made a list of possible podcast topics and Route 66 was just one of many topics being considered. His wife felt the topic was too specific, but Arno believed podcasting about a 2200 mile highway that had been decommissioned by the federal government had the potential for 2200 topics!
The Route 66 Podcast features talks with people living and working along America’s Main Street, Route 66. Arno has had a wide range of guests, ranging from voice actors from the movie CARS to numerous book authors who have written specific books related to Route 66, to a man who has 160 tattoos on his body highlighting Route 66.
Since launching The Route 66 Podcast Arno spends his summer discovering unknown sites along America’s Main Street in addition to giving presentations to groups along the highway interested in promoting the entire road to local communities.

Tyler Bell – Westside Fairytales
Tyler was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the ass end of the 1980s. St. Judes Catholic School got rid of him by sixth grade and he came up in the public school system with the lions share of his generation. His childhood was a lot of hand-me-downs and hard work, of doing whether or not you wanted to and going back out to fight even if you were scared.
And he read. Lots. And thought about writing his own books.
The towers falling on 9/11 changed his plans for his future just about as much as anybody else in that era. And, five years after watching thousands die live in his freshman typing class, Tyler was clapped up in body armor with Second Battalion, Eighth Marines outside of Fallujah. He did three combat deployments with the Marines as an infantry 0331 and rejoined society drunk, angry, and pissed off about being alive when other people weren’t.
Writing saved his life. He started with journalism in college and found himself suddenly drinking less and going out more, wanting to know about people. He could feel the world through their stories, through the scrawls they left on the inside of his skull, more than he could feel using his own skin. He found the shards of the person he could become inside others, and slowly, painstakingly put himself back together.
He caught the itch soon after and started writing for himself, doing whatever he could to commit the stories he couldn’t write the news to paper. Stories too grotesque or banally cruel for publication. The true lives of the blue collar folk he’d grown up alongside — folks the world just always seemed ready to write off and forget — he wrote about them.

They have a degree in European History and Theater, and wrote their thesis on ascetic medieval women and all the ways they messed with the patriarchy, and flirted for a long time with slapping on an archaeology degree as well, because why not! Bones, yo. They’re so neat. Now, they can usually be seen frantically running around craft stores working on cosplays, spending entirely way too much money at comic conventions, and muttering obscenities under breath at Adobe Premiere Pro while honing video editing skills. And usually consuming more Netflix than is probably healthy. Likes: seeing hopeful and representative stories reflected in media, new comic book Wednesdays, also tea, petting all the dogs, and their bed.
